Professor Sir Patrick Abercrombie, the Town Planning expert, has accepted the invitation of the Hong Kong Government to visit the Colony in the Autumn of this year to advise on town planning matters. Originally it was contemplated that his visit would last some 4 to 5 weeks, including travelling, and the C.D. & W. grant was obtained for this purpose. Details of that grant are given in No.17: you will see that the provision made for fee, including subsistence, amounted to £525.
